2019 Toyota RAV4 - Review & Road Test

Toyota's RAV4 has been completely redesigned for 2019. From the dimensions, to power trains, both exterior and interior styling and safety and tech features, there's a lot to talk
about. Good thing Kelley Blue Book's Micah Muzio is good at talking. Follow along and he'll let you in on what's new about the 2019 Toyota RAV4.

Thanks Toyota for putting a regular Automatic Transmission and not a damn CVT... Too bad Toyota you insist in ignoring Android Auto but including a useless while driving Amazon Alexa. I am interested in the Adventure version only.

I think most people have become blind to what the purpose of a car even is. It's a vehicle that gets you from A to B, yet here we are as always only mentioning and reviewing the aesthetics and features rather than the physical quality and the dependability of the engine, which is essentially the only commercial Chevy puts out. "All of our vehicles have been rated highest in INITIAL-QUALITY by JD Power for 7 years in a row." Which is BS-speak for "our cars look like their of high quality upon inspection, but after some usage... Ehhhh let's even not talk about that...

OH LOOK AT THE LUXURIOUS INTERIOR!" The engine should be the first thing to consider, not how the car looks. You sit in it and can't even see the exterior while driving it for Christ sake. It's a superficial thing to worry about. Most people are careful not to ruin their interior but very quickly snap out of it and treat it like anything else they own. And all the fuss about Android Auto... don't kid yourself, you REALLY don't need it. Cars have been around longer than all of us. Pay attention to the road and get to where you're going. You can play with your phone when you arrive at your destination. It's just an f'n car. As long as the engine is reliable, there's AC, a radio and a few charging ports, you're set.
